Question About Having Mixed Feelings About a New Friend

There's a girl I've met this year that is in the band with me. She's outgoing, a bit hyperactive, and very fearless in everything she says and does. She and I are friends on Facebook and in real life but I've been having this weird set of mixed feelings.
Sometimes I'm happy when she chats with me out of the blue or hangs out over lunch with me but then there's others where I sort of wish that she wasn't there. I'm not sure what this means but I know that she's close with a guy who is also in the band with us and I did sort of like him. I really don't know why I feel that way about one person - liking their company then dreading them another. It's bizarre.
