I know it seems like I've dropped off the face of the Earth, but I promise I haven't. xD As a few of you know I recently got a job and they've been working me half to death - but I'm not complaining. After being unemployed for 2 years save for the 7 weeks I worked at DK's, having a well paying job that wants to work me is good.

Another reason they've been training me so extensively is because they need to have me ready for the 4th of July. At the store that I work at the 4th of July is their busiest week/weekend. Everyone works during this time, and you have to be ready for it.

Also, abut my missed blog, since it's been two days, I don't think I'm going to be able to make them up. So I've finally hit a break in the number of blogs. Blah.

But for the past 3 days I've worked and been home alone because my parents went on a float trip. It was nice. I go back to school tomorrow to take a math quiz and then a psychology test on Tuesday that I'll hopefully study all day for.

So yeah! I kind of have a life right now!

I've been sitting with this window open for over an hour now, but I'm so distracted by the TV that I haven't done anything. xD And since it's already so late, and my first day of work is tomorrow (It's VERY important that I make a good... second impression?) so I'm going to bed.

I'll come back and write about my day tomorrow. xD As well as write about tomorrow tomorrow. :D Muhaha, double words. Hurr.

Even though my last blog post SAYS that it was written on the 16th, meaning that I missed a blog, I really didn't. See, when I write up these blogs I usually write them at 2-3am. The time zone that this site uses is different compared to mine, so at around 4am or so is when it officially hits midnight for this site. I was running a little later than usual when I wrote yesterdays blog, and didn't make it before the time switch. I think I just over explained something really simple to understand. But that's how I roll.

I went to math this morning, and was really surprised to be assigned actual paper homework that's not an essay. Granted he told us on the first day that even though he assigns the homework, he's going to collect everything at the end of the semester and isn't going to grade it. He's also going to collect the notes. It's really more of a completion grade. On top of the paper homework we're also going to have the usual online homework like I had last semester. But he's not going to assign that until before the quizzes as a refresher and to help us before we actually take the quiz.

Also, whenever I went into coursecompass (the website that I do my math homework on) it told me that my subscription ran out. I thought that I had to rebuy the code that you had to enter in whenever you bought your math book which was like, $70 or so I hear. But when I talked to my math teacher he said that some students managed to get it for $20. So, I told my mom that I needed to buy it again. I went to the computer lab at school with wallet in hand, and it turns out that I didn't have to pay for anything at all! All I had to do was enter in the course ID and I was all set! It turns out that my math112 subscription expired, so I needed to be enrolled in 116. xD

But my math teacher is definitely a lot different than my last semester teacher. His handwriting is really sloppy and he doesn't write out any word notes, like instructions. He just puts up examples and doesn't even number them! So you have to hurry up and write what he's writing and jot down the stuff that he's saying as well. I managed to do the homework that he assigned with fairly no problem, but I worry about what's going to happen come quiz/test time. :|

After I got out of class I ran to Behme's (where I worked when I was 16) and asked about the cashier job only to find out that someone was supposed to be coming in a few hours later to be interviewed. So after buying a slice of pizza (I WAS STARVINGGGG) I went to the bank and changed the sign. (I get paid $10 a side) changing the sign is my only source of income right now which is why I hope Bob (my old boss) changes his mind and decides to hire me.

It actually turns out that Lori and my mom from the bank are going to talk to Bob about hiring me, as well as some of my old friends that I worked with when I was there are going to talk to bob about hiring me instead of his son's friend like he had originally intended. His son has a reputation of being an idiot and a drug addict. But seriously! There's Josh, Ashley, Chris, Lori, and my mom all working on Bob. If I get the job I wouldn't know how to thank everyone. I'd have to bake them a cake or something!

Also, a funny story that I heard today: The whole reason that they're hiring in the first place is they fired their old cashier because he (somehow) put a bag of marijuana into the money bag at the end of the day and put it in the drop box at the bank when he closed the store. My mom found it and thought that they were dead flowers until someone told her what it was. xD I find the entire thing hilarious. I just want to know what he was thinking, or how he even managed to do that? The girls at the bank said that the money smelled like pot and it was pretty awful. Haha.

When I got home I got in the pool, took a shower, then did my math homework outside to enjoy the weather. Later on in the evening my mom's friends came over and got in the pool so I sat in a chair and read a book that my mom's friend gave me. It's all about van Gogh! And I swear it weights like, ten pounds.

For the rest of the day I did homework and watched the Mythbusters special. There's been lots of specials on the Discovery channel because they're celebrating 25 years of being on the air. Good for them, they're my favorite channel! (Well, besides Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, haha.)

Alright, my fingers hurt. And I think I've gossiped a little too much in this entry. xD I can't wait to see how long it is after I post it!

Good lord people. This morning when I walked out to my car to check and see if it was dry yet, there was a puddle of water in the back floor board of my car. A PUDDLE. IN MY CAR. I had to run inside and grab a towel and just lay it on the floor and jet because I was going to be late for math (even though I was 15 minutes early as usual... I really need to start leaving later. x___x) And it still smells SO BAD in there. D: When I got back I sprayed some Feebreze and tried to get some more moisture out of there... and I drive with the windows down to ventilate it and it still smells musty and dirty. So not cool!

So, on the first day of math we had to take a test that we weren't graded on and it didn't count against us, it was really just a review to see how much we remember from our last class. I surprisingly only missed four, but that's kind of embarrassing considering they gave an example of how to do the problem to the side. It was pretty weird. But today in class was the first time he actually started teaching. What he writes on the board is a lot sloppier compared to my last semester teacher. He doesn't label anything and doesn't write out any instructions. Really you have to pay attention, try and keep up (he goes SO FAST) and scribble down your own notes. Though the material we're going over now SEEMS pretty easy to do... I dunno. I kinda worry about what's going to happen later in the semester.

My main concern is when the exit exam comes around. Last semester I took the exam and felt pretty good about it considering how nervous I was when walking into class. When I emailed my teacher and found out what I got on it, I only got a 75%. The deal was you had to get a 70% or better to pass the class. And I only passed by 5%. That REALLY scared me! It was all multiple choice, I knew how to do everything... but I think it's the little things that got me. A lot of the answers were really similar and only had minor differences between them. I dunno. I'm just gonna have to try my best... and go to bed earlier!

Speaking of sleep, when I got home from class (I stayed there a little later than usual to go to the computer lab) I took the most epic nap. I have class from 10:30 to 11:40 in the morning on Tuesdays, then at night I have class from 6:00 to 9:20 at the same place. So I have to drive 20 minutes back home and just sit for 6 hours then drive all the way back. At first I wasn't going to take a nap because I wanted to get some sleep tonight, but sure enough I broke down and slept. For 5 hours. It stormed outside so I slept like a wee little baby. And of course I almost fell asleep in Psychology again. xD

OH, AND I GOT MY TEST SCORES BACK TODAY. I got an 85% on chapter nine (the first test) but only a 66% on chapter ten! D: I was expecting the absolute worst, and I pulled through on one of the tests. The teacher told the entire class that she usually drops the lowest grade at the end of the semester, and she's thinking about dropping chapter ten for the entire class. So, if she does that, I'll be alright. But for right now, I'm not doing so good. I really need to just crack down and study. If I can make an 85% with only just barely knowing the material, I KNOW I can do a lot better. And I need to. I payed for my summer semester out of pocket. I don't want over $1,000 to go to waste because I'm not responsible enough to do well in school.

But all seriousness aside, after class was let out at 8:45 I had to drive over to my friends house to use her phone charger just long enough for me to make a phone call and get my other friends address. It's really cool that my friend's mom is nice enough to let me just barge into her house and use her charger like that. I love her so much. Once I got the address I went over to my other friends house where I thought we were going to be watching movies.

The deal was it was supposed to be a pool party, but I got a text in the middle of my nap saying that it was going to be canceled because of the weather. Instead they were going to be watching movies. So I didn't bring a swimming suit or a towel like I was supposed to and came totally unprepared for what happened. The party was still on. And I had nothing. So someone who was there thought ahead and bought a swimming suit in case someone needed one. So I put it on and looked REALLY bad in it. It was a bikini and I don't have near the figure to be wearing one. (I have lots of nasty stretch marks. It's so gross. I wish they would go away. Dx) so I found a tank top and put it on and felt less insecure. The pool was really warm but frogs kept jumping into it and meeting their untimely demise. =/ She had a salt water pool so I don't think it hurt them as much as a chlorine pool would... but they still bit the... dust?

I met a few nice people while I was there and made a new friend along the way. She's also an art student planning on going to my community college! I hope we have a class together. There was also a girl at the party that had a suspiciously deep voice. Whenever everyone left and it was just me, Jessica, and my new friend there Jessica told us that she was actually a he! It was really surprising because "she" had boobs and had a really great figure and "she" didn't appear to have a man part in her pants... I dunno. It's not a bad thing, it was just REALLY unexpected. And "she" also had a boyfriend who appeared to be very straight. I dunno how their relationship works out. She was all over him at the party.

.... Anyways.

So the three of us stayed and chatted well after the party was over and helped clean up the place. It was a huge mess. There were tons of glow sticks and food and just stuff all over the place. Oh, it was a glow stick pool party, and she even had a pool that had lights that changed colors. xD Her house is gigantic. I'm so jealous. >:

Someone brought a package of double stuffed oreos that I went to town on. I ate a few of them and got in the pool, then came back in and they were ALL GONE. It was FULL when I left and someone ate every last one of them! I think it was Dakota. But I could be wrong.

So, I friended my new friend on facebook and we're supposedly going rollerblading tomorrow at the YMCA. Hopefully I feel up to it and decide not to take a nap instead. xD

So, first thing this morning I woke up at 9am and rolled back over and went to sleep. I miraculously woke back up at 9:30. I made the every day trip to Edwardsville and went to the N.O. Nelson campus of Lewis and Clark community college. I was the first one to get to Math 116 class and to my surprise, I have a MALE teacher! In the 7 classes I've taken so far only one of my teachers has been male. I think I'm really going to like this class. It's also in the same classroom as my old math class. Which is also cool.

I have math and psychology tomorrow. I'm absolutely terrified to get my first tests back... Like, really scared. I'm going to have to talk to my psychology teacher about setting up something for me because just one day a week is absolutely killing me.

My friend Jessica is having a pool party tomorrow at 8. I'm going to be an hour or two late because of m class unless it gets out before 9:20 like it says on the schedule. I took extra care when shaving my legs while in the shower today. xD If I'm going to be seen in a swimming suit by several of my friends I need to make sure I'm not hairy. Haha!

Today my grandma, uncle, brother, mom, and I went to Rural King to get a lawn mower for my grandma. We were there for two hours or so I'm told. I was enjoying myself too much to notice really. We were there for so long because if we bought a credit card to buy the lawnmower, we would save 7% on the overall purchase, and also get a free $100 gift card. In the end somehow we managed to save $500 - and THAT'S why it took so long. But it was worth it. I bought lots of candy and a box of snack cakes while I was there.

When we got I didn't get in the pool like I was planning, instead I played Wizard101. I've been working on this dungeon for two days and I finally got to the end. It turns out that what I had landed in was the famous dungeon with 3 bosses and an enemy. The enemy has 1,050 health points, two of the bosses have 8,000 hit points, and the boss that you're after, Jotun, has 9,000. When I got there I first consulted my friends list and found that none of my online friends could help or even get into the area. So I marked my location and teleported to the base of the area. I found a girl that helped me and she called one of her friends to help as well. basically we took out two of the enemies, my computer froze, they both died, and I'm back to square one. Awesome.

Also, when I got home from school I decided to take a nap because I was super tired. I left my windows rolled down because it gets super hot in my car if I leave them up. I woke up periodically and heard thunder outside, but figured it would pass. It turns out that it didn't. It poured. The phone rang, my neighbor even got in my car and tried to roll them up (my windows are electric) and knocked on the door. I was asleep. I had no idea. My car is drenched. It's probably gonna mold. And man, is it gonna smell nice in the morning. Ugh. My mom keeps telling me that my seats are going to rot out of my car. I wonder if there's any way to get rid of the mold that's possibly growing inside of them? I dunno.

I also really need to start trying to eat better. I found a stash of snack cakes in the closet from the other day and I've been eating nothing but them for the past few days. I've been trying to lose weight, not gain. Blahhhhhh.

So anyways, today was pretty uneventful if I do say so. Hopefully the pool party tomorrow is awesome, and I don't die when I get my test scores back. xD
